Hi does anyone in the UK have the top part of the instrument case for the M model, the part with the clear plastic glass mine is cracked, and a good r/h cover for the instrument pod.

Hi Steve,I've got a spare r/h end cover for the pod,do you need the reflector with it.It,s a bit tarnished,might need a lick of silver.Cheers,Shaun.Got a spare instrument top case but my plastic is also cracked.

I have replaced the plastic glass lens on other speedos before.Could you remove your cracked part and glue on a replacement piece.On my GT550K I replaced the round speedo and rev counter plastic with round glass from tax disc holders.Shaun.

no i have got a reflector but the cover is all dented how much do you want for it, i have cut the old plastic out and glued in a new piece but would be nice to have an origanel

Hi Steve,
When I got my bikes the dealer, who imported a number of RE5s from USA, told me he always replaces the clock glass with a newly cut piece of clear perspex. In the box of bits that came with the bikes I have two of the newly cut clear perspex sheets. I assume they are cut to the correct size. I need one but, if it is of any help to you Steve, you are welcome to the other sheet.

If you have any pod parts that Steve does not need & that you dont need to keep, I have to build a complete new pod & would be interested in them.

Hi Shaun, I basically need the full pod, base, RH cover & reflector, LH cover & reflector, flip up hood. The top cover is about the only thing that may be reuseable (but does have a small chip in it). Any parts you may have that Steve does not need would be most helpful Shaun. I don't need anymore clock parts just need an ignition switch, r/h frame side panel, metal bridge bracket for inside the headlight bowl and a pair of M model headlight brackets these are to make up my spare set you never know i might find another in need of restoration.
