Thanks for the offer Nick but I'll stick with the panels I got back from the painter today for now, even though they are not right they do look good.
Maybe some red ones will pop up on eBay?
Lee.

Hi Steve, Not had a chance to have a "good" look at it yet but I have started to look more closely. Of what is there I think I can salvage the main/larger parts. A lot of parts are missing & some smaller parts that are there are in bad repair......but I am going to restore her. I have to finish my 1964 Honda C200 restoration before I can start on the RE5. I'm almost complete on the Honda, just the rear wheel & chain drive/cover to install, then I need to try to get the original registration plate back & get an MOT. I'm starting to assemble some parts for the RE5 but need many more. I hope to start stripping her down very soon. Will strip it down fully, 100%. putting all parts into storage bins & the smaller parts into small containers, each relating to a particular section of the bike. Will take the usual detailed photo's of each part as I strip it down (to help with the reassembly). I intend to post some photos, as I progress, on the flickr site you introduced me to. I don't have much on there yet but will add more. Here's the link again: www.flickr.com/photos/nickwin100/sets/I'll not get started for a few weeks yet but will let you know when I get going on it. In the meantime I'm keen to learn as much as I can about the bikes, to learn how best to restore them & to find as many new/used parts as I can. Thanks for your interest Steve. I hope your bike is coming together well. Nick

i am not working on my re5 at moment, been repainting my spare tanks, panels and finely rebuilding my spare set of clocks just need an ignition switch then i can wrap them up and store them for another project that may come my way. i am going to get my black 76 re5 out next week to give it a good clean and polish followed by the red 75 re5 not touched them since before christmas apart from turning them over on the kickstart, then i will continue with the blue re5.
