Hi I bought a spark plug adaptor from Jess a couple of years ago to change to the more readily available plug. Does anyone know if there is supposed to be a sealing washer between the adapter and the housing or a washer underneath the plug. The plug came out with the normal washer plus a copper washer underneath it. I don’t see any washer between the housing and the adapter. This is the first time I changed the plug from its rebuild 3 years ago. Hope you can help! Thanks

You don't need a washer between the adaptor and the engine housing. The original plug does not use a washer, it's a special tapered (conical) seat, no washer required. Jess's adaptor is designed to do the same. However, for the plug to adaptor, you both need the washer that comes with the plug plus the copper additional washer (or another plug washer to suit).

Hi Wayne, I also have an oil leak at Gasket 16481-37001 between the oil pump housing and right side engine casing...does that mean i have to remove the right side casing to replace this gasket?
Thanks Wayne.

Thanks again Wayne...I appreciate it. Bike was running great last year and i decided to take it out for a run, but it started running rough. I was just gonna replace the plug and dump the old gas and then........ oil leak LOL!
Don't have a lot of time to ride it as much as i want!!!! Oh well.
