I wonder if that's the same bike that is featured in the original Suzuki promotional video that you can see on YouTube. They make extensive use of a silver one in that video.

I doubt if its the same bike as the one on ebay is an 'A' model as opposed to the 'M' in the original vids.

Doesn't the seller say that the tank and covers come from a well known or noted RE5 expert (ie Sam) and that he got them from the factory ? They were supposedly a test sample for preproduction marketing research.

The silver was, as the e-bay description notes, never used for production. There were some pre-production silver RE5s in late 1974, but most were crushed or used for training, then crushed as they could not legally be sold, at least not in the US.
