Hi Roy Yup, the bikes going well apart from am insatiable thirst for sump oil The compression seems fine at about 120psi and there's no smoke so not sure where its all going I did over 500 miles and it didn't miss a beat. I even ran it up the Ramsey 1/8 mile I will be taking it off the road soon to give is a bit of a restore. It will be good to see your restored bike, might make me jealous though and I may have to buy another one. Ray

Hi Ray, Try cleaning the oil pressure relief valve and make sure that its not stuck. Roy

I'll have a look at the valve but not sure how that would make the oil just dissapear, its vanishing somewhere. I though maybe side seals were on way out but I'd have thought compression would be low and there would be a huge cloud of smoke following me but there is none.

It looked like an extremely nice example suzukiclub, I hope the new owner appreciates such a fine and rare machine.
