Actually, it will be interesting to see what sort of price this eventually goes for.
The seller is the guy who runs the bike museum at Haigslea (name escapes me for the moment).
I'd say it's in import (he does quite a bit of importing and on-selling) - it's not one of yours, Jess?

Geeez ! Wash your mouth out McBurney.....non genuine sissy bar, black lids on original colour bags..........
No, not mine. I hope never to see one of my rotaries with a "For Sale" on it.

Sorry, sorry, I didn't look too closely . And, I was temporarily blinded by the 'handsomeness' of that fairing. Do you want I should go have a look at it in case you need any parts for yours?

Thanks for the offer to go and take a look but I'll pass. Could be a good buy.
Missed the best looking GSX1100 last week. Went out to see it 3 days after the add was placed and it had sold witihin 24 hours. Sixty nine thousand original klm, all original, pipes, paint etc and regularly ridden.
I saw it in the flesh, very nice, clean, original bike. But sold for $6,900 AU plus the guy has to ship to Perth. Big money for something like that. It was sold on consignment for a mate of the dealer and he told me he thought the price was top dollar and couldn't believe the speed of the sale.
The nostalgia wave cresting around 1980.....these bikes are not really collectible, but are a nostalgia buy for old farts who once owned one as a young bloke (like me).
Cheers, Wayne
