Are there any automotive or modern "off the shelf" oil filters that fit the RE5?

plenty of k&n hp 1003 on ebay about £12 here in uk

I've used a K&N one, not a perfect fit on the 'O' ring but it remained oil tight.
Gone back to original now.

Thanks for all the replies, I will probably get a Fram from my local autoparts store and spray it silver.
On a separate note has anyone replaced the throttle cables? Any tips?
