Just received my replica RE5M blinkers from Rotary Recycle.
They are gorgeous and perfect copies.
These replicas are not cheap, but then again, you'd need to rechrome the originals to get the faultless look and polish of these Stainless steel copies. Rechroming cost me $100 each blinker 6 years ago and when you consider that you get NOS lenses included with the purchase of the replicas and of course get to keep your originals, the price, for me, was no longer an issue.
The only problem is that they'll keep looking good for many years while even my rechromed ones are starting to develop faults from the crappy base metal.........so poor that some platers refused to do them at all.

Like Lee, I'd be interested to see what they look like Wayne. Would you be able to post some pics? Nick

Sorry about that.......rather cruel of me to post above and not include pictures. Look here.....there's about 9....the last ones show internal machining: Here's a sample, there's more at the link: The "ring" that can be seen on the SS is actually the rubber gasket between lens and housing which is actually supposed to be there.......it's just missing from my original blinker. www.flickr.com/photos/waynefromoz/sets/72157626123913018/Wayne

Thanks Wayne. They look good. I need blinkers for my rebuild. There were only two on the bikes i purchased and they are badly rusted and have red lenses (no good for UK). I'll have to get a quote from Jess. From your earlier post, it sounds like they are pretty expensive. Thanks for posting the pics. They do look nice units. Nick

Nick, you won't be disappointed. They are very, very good.
As far as cost goes.....about 5 years ago the bike fell over in the shed and smashed a blinker. I put on my last NOS blinker. Recently I was bemoaning the fact that only 5 or 6 years ago I could buy NOS gen, cap, waterpump and clutch covers for between $30 and $50 each from a local shop. AND I DIDN'T ! What a d***head. So while these replcas are available, I thought why make the same mistake again. Get them when you can, I'll put my originals away.
