RE5 or W2000 wanted

I am looking for either a RE5 or a W2000.
The most important thing is that the bike is ready for the road, but the cosmetics is not so important.

Hi Andreas,
I have a 1975 M model in Firemist Red for sale.
The bike is currently on the road with full U.K tax and m.o.t
It has had the following new parts fitted.Wheel bearings,fork tubes and seals,steering bearings,front brakes rebuilt,master cylinder rebuilt,oil,oil filter,spark plug,air filter,contact points,carburettor rebuild kit,battery(yuasa),rectifier,rear brake shoes,chain and sprocket kit (nos 630)and newly painted tank and panels,etc,etc.
GOOD POINTS.
The bike is complete and original and runs fine with everything working ie,fuel sender,gear indicator and has good compression,starts easily.
BAD POINTS.
cosmetics!!
Frame paint,seat cover,alloy polishing and some chrome.
But remember it does have a new paint set,tank panels,

Hi Andreas,
This is now a year after your posting on the forum. Did you ever get a RE5?
There are a couple of RE5s on eBay at the moment in the UK.
I know you're not in the EU, but at least they're the right side of the Atlantic!
