Hi,
I have a nice '75 RE5 with low miles.
I bought it from the original owner , it came with the owner's manual and a beautifull silver brochure . ;D
The bike doesn't run yet , it has spark , but the gas has hardened inside the carb (from what I saw on the drain bolts) , so it needs a carb clean/rebuild.
The engine seems to have good compression.
unfortunately , it has some rust , mainly on the bolts.
I let you know on my progress and probably have some questions.
The bike scared me as I always heard about its complexity , but it doesn't seem so complex apart from the carb.
