one of the chap on here(Tonny) on here lent me a rack to copy off. all measurements etc are the same as the original. the rack bit is made out of 8mm round bar . where as the original one was made from 12mm tube and 10mm round bar. I'm a process of getting a former made so that I can bend the 12mm tube with out kinking it. using the 10mm r/bar will add quite a bit off weight to the rail. once I've made one up I'll know for sure. the welds are a lot better. I now use a better quality welding wire and use argon/co2 mix.this improved the welds tremendously. very neat and smooth the rear brackets are made in the USA. the bracket are uniform ,10 times better than hand made. as you can see that the grab rail bit is under slung rather than on top. these also I make(grab rail).# if jess sell these then I will not intrude on his market. as his is his living ,mine is a hobby. I also make other Suzuki racks/rails ,most 2 strokes. also I'll soon be making racks for the T20. so I've got quite a selection of rails etc. so if you need any racks/rails other than a RE5 just pm me to see if I make what you want or need. MERRY XMAS TO ALL
