did anyone see the used M model headlight shell on ebay, sold for $306, some parts are still fetching silly money!!!!!!11

Not silly money when there are NONE... I have less than ten in sale able condition.
The part is very hard to find in usable condition... I have been trying for two years to have them made and they are just cost prohibitive to have produced...
I have found that when working on anything that has been out of production for 40 plus years two very important things...
#1. Be glad when what you need is available... at any cost.
#2. Complaining about the price just irritates everyone... not worth the time.

hi jess you foregot 3 if a very rare part turns up you buy it then worry about cost later.its just cost me with shipping and import taxes nearly $1000 us for plastic clock cover and seat lock for my z1r .to me it was worth it as they were the last 2 bits to make my z original

Now that I have spent a great deal of money having them made... No one wants them  My reproductions are better made than the original and should last far longer than the original. They material is UV stabilized so that it will not disintegrate. Best, |

At the end of the day Jess has it,(thankfully) and we want it, just imagine if there wasn't Jess, it just doesn't bear thinking about.

i have 2 re5's and just doing a deal for 2 more all m models im dreading my bill from jess when i send him a shiping list please be kind creep creep lol.without this forum and jess re5 owners would stuggle regards mike

I have seen, held and compared the new headlight shells. The only difference I could find is that the old, used, brittle one had paint on it.
Even the lettering was spot on.
Any of you lucky enough to have an M should avail yourselves. This part is CHEAP at the price Jess needs for it.
