I've seen it, it's all there but it's not show condition.
Reason they have had it for five years is that it was for sale at almost £10K.
Don't know if it runs well or not?

Do you guys think that if the bike was an M model, as opposed to an A, that it would be easier to sell?
Personally speaking, I prefer the styling of the M model over the GT750 `lookalike` features of the A.

Quite possibly Mick as the 'Swiss roll' type were the first edition as you know and should demand a higher price if it's a really good example.
The A model presently on eBay is worth the asking price as long as it runs well but we seem to be back with the same problem that killed the RE5 back in the seventies, it's different and wannabe RE5 owners are scared of it. I know this because of the numerous people I've spoken to at shows, yes they would like one but know nothing about the rotary engine and maintaining it and that makes them scared of taking the task on.
If it was the rarer of the GT750 models in that condition it would have probably sold by now, the more common GT750s are 10 a penny on eBay but an RE5 is so rare that it should be priced high but many can't see that and want one for next to nothing, I've also met these people, infuriating.
In favor of the A it is a lot easier to ride with the higher bars, also spares are easier to obtain and cheaper over the M and I personally think the A is the better looking but still prefer the U.K. M model.
