My M is a U.K. model and was registered in February 75, it has the solid lines.
It also has the tubular side pieces to the front mudguard (fender) rather than the 'D' section tubular ones.

Sorry Tonny, I didn't see your question. Frame number is 10702. Bike is not there and i can't read the manufactured date... My bike has also the chromed oil cooler lines. I don't know when Suzuki changed them for the new ones.... Alain |

What I have found until now is, bike 10716 have the rpm counter with dots, and bike number 10740 have the lines.
About the chromed oil lines, I have found that 11814 have the chromed, and 11835 have the later type.
If anyone have more info, please mail me.

I think that I may have read somewhere that Suzuki changed the chrome tube oil lines for the rubber flexi ones at sevice intervals for fear of them fracturing.

You are right, I've also read that somewhere. But from all the pictures I have collected, mostly from ebay, all bikes after 11835 have the rubber types.
