Hi, I've noticed one of my bikes exhausts has a 1" hole on one pipe and 1" 1/4 on the other side?? They must have done a running change modification for some reason. Does anyone know which is better and why it happened???

Hi Simon,Suzuki Service Bulletin No.RE-16. To reduce the RE5's exhaust noise level the muffler baffles inner diameter has been decreased from 29.5mm to 24mm. The new style baffles installed on and from frame no.RE5-11901.Dated DEC.19TH 1975.HTH.Shaun.
