On the thread about the article in the magazine Tom mentioned that there should be a hug smiley on the board. I figured rather than mention this on that thread, I would start a new thread here.
In a way we do have a hug on the board with the karma rating. It is on the left side under the users id. Under the karma there is exalt and smite links to click. Clicking the exalt one adds a point to the karma, the other one takes one away. I give them out to everyone after there first few posts, then at 25, 50, 75, 100 and 200 posts but anybody can use the feature.
If a member on the board helps you out, click the exalt and add one to there karma. It's an easy way to show your appreciation for what the member has done for you.
