Very interesting article, I always wondered how many RE5s were officially imported to the U.K. by Heron Suzuki, according to the article it was 108. I'd heard about 250.
When showing my RE5A many people ask me 'what does it sound like?' My reply is 'if you have seen the old black and white film coverage of V1 flying bombs that dropped on London during the second world war (nicknamed the 'Doodle Bug') then that's how it sounds when cruising'.

Billquack,
I have made progress with the M restoration but have been waiting for the return of my rear shocks after having them refurbished, then I had a setback when the original paint decided to part company with the side panels, will update the site soon and let you all know.
Suzukiclub,
Must have been terrifying times for those caught up in the blitz.

WOW Lee once again you have done a great job. Thanks for the up date. I hope one day to get to the UK and see them in person. Your RE5 M was in the same shape as mine was when I got it, and I am about to start mine for the first time when my battery gets here.
