Thanks for sharing... Van Veens are very rare indeed... I have personally only seen two.
If that was in the mid eighties... I wonder where it is now?
Best,
Jess
P.S. Nice lookin M too!

Really cool pictures!! Thanks for posting them. I had never heard of a Van Veen. I'd be interested in finding out more about them.

Not much info to be had...

Others may have more info than I.
Best,

Not sure if I'm doing this right [not computer trained]but I typed in the following Van Veen Motorcycles Image Gallery in the top address bar, clicked GO then clicked on the same title and a Van Veen workshop came up .Someone rebuilding a Van Veen rotary, several pictures to click on,spare engines etc.Found a thread stating that the rumour was of some being put together with old stock.Hope this works for anyone interested.

Here's a good link to the Van Veen.History of the rotary, the prototype Mazda engine slotted in a Moto Guzzi.Good pictures, also final photo of all the rotaries,RE5, Norton,Hercules etc. I think they may be building a couple of new Van Veens to test the market.German or Dutch but the first part seems to say assembly of wankel motors.Anybody translate? www.cybermotorcycle.com/docs/downloads/vanVeenMotorRijwiel.pdf
