I have been to the new web site for Rotary Recycle it looks like a great place. I want to go see all those bikes. I would have never believed that there could be that many RE-5's in one spot. I hope to be able to go see if for myself sometime soon. I have spoken to them and they do accept visitors. Anyone been? Ladyblue

I haven't been there yet but hope to sometime. I'm sure it is a fascinating place to visit. There is discussion about taking a trip there in the thread titled 'spring ride' here in the general message section.

i visited with jess at his shop in december '09. he has a spread between the office, storage area for the bikes and the parts area. he has done an outstanding job in setting up rotary recycle. if we can enough die hard re5 owners together sometime in april(?) then see what weekend will work for best for jess and get the ball rolling. there is ample hotels and eating places in this little town.---odie

I'd love to see the RE5 centre of the universe.
Perhaps one willing visitor could make a video or series of videos and put them on u tube (with Jess's concent) for us all to enjoy.

I didn't take any pics, but Billy Waits and I went up and spent some time with Jess and his guys. Y'all wouldn't believe how much room there is, and how well-organized it is. Jess has plans for all of it, so nothing is "wasted" space, but holy cow is it huge!
We actually got to talk a good bit about the effort necessary to reproduce or source everything for the bikes, and I never appreciated the amount of work Sam put into these bikes and how much Jess has stepped up to grow things further-still. Very cool.
If things work out right, I'd like to return in the near future with an actual project in the works or shopping for one.

Yep,
We are going to the DGRR in mid april. But I am happy to organise an event at the new RR.
Crit, we enjoyed your visit and thanks for the kind comments. It is hard to explain how much a labor of love this has been until you actually see the place.
All are welcome to come for a visit if you get to my neck of the woods... Just give a little notice and we will work it out. We are proud of what we have accomplished and like to show folks what we do.
Best,
Jess
