I've helped a new member out by posting this so it appears under my name but see below for Harry's contact details:
1975 RE5M. Recently acquired from the original purchaser. 5700 miles.
Bike is original throughout. Missing headlight bucket (had a vetter). Tank damage on lower front sides by previous Vetter, prominent dent on left from storage neglect. Other cosmetics are very good.
Original owner (a slight man) tells me he tipped it over while stationary in 1985 and has not been on it since.
Fuel was drained. Engine is free and throttle is not stuck. With battery attached, it turns over nicely and sounds of no internal issues. Front brake is non operable void of brake fluid. Tires are in surprisingly good shape without cracking and hold air (are they original??).
Appears to be an excellent resurrection candidate, unmolested and much too nice to be parted. Always inside, but ignored for many years.
