Weird and wonderful ICE designs coming out of the wood pile in a hurry. I thought this particularly interesting. The vibration demo (lack thereof) standing a 1 Euro coin edgewise on the block is impressive:

Interesting. Reminds me of a General Motors Frigidaire Air Conditioning compressor.

Yes is sure does look like the old GM "Rotary" AC compressor. They did not seem to last too long though, very compact.
