Coolant leaks often have a culprit among the small hoses 'round the filler neck or simply leaking from under one of the big hose clamps. This one had me scratching my head. At the side of the road on the side stand coolant looked like it was leaking from everywhere except the hose. There were stains on top of the clutch cover but as soon as the engine stopped and pressure reduced, the split relaxed, closed over and the offending hose looked like butter wouldn't melt......... To be fair, was installed 23 years ago and was new old stock at the time. ~48 years out of '70s Japanese rubber, not bad!

Wayne, has anyone identified a suitable hose(s) replacement that is readily available?

Wayne, has anyone identified a suitable hose(s) replacement that is readily available? Not off the top of my head, but JESS at rotaryrecycle@gmail.com has replacements in stock that are better than the originals and unless you're an RE tragic (no names), you won't pick them from original. The heavier duty ones I've just fitted are from member JESS.
