Hi from germany, thanks for accepting my joining. My name is Maik I'm 26 and have a 1976 Re 5 in poor condition. Is there anyone else from Germany here? At the moment I'm on the carburetor and looking for spare parts because the membranes are broken, otherwise it's okay. I'm also looking for a right side cover (frame) and the heat shields from the exhaust.

Hello Maik and welcome. We have an active Member in Belgium, his name is Michel and he rebuilds engines if required- TYP110. A little unusual to have someone so young with an RE5. It's mostly us old farts! Member TIMPA has a right side cover for sale: re5rotary.proboards.com/thread/3298/black-rh-side-cover-saleMember JESS in the US may have carb parts for sale and he should also be able to help with heat shields, send an email to rotaryrecycle@gmail.com Roger in the UK may also be able to help with carb parts (Member HGH770N) and Stuart (Member T140V)

Hello Maik,
Welcome to this forum! As Wayne already explained, I am in Belgium and I have a few of the spares you are looking for. Send me a pm ;-)
There is another member from Germany active on this forum: zebulon.
Greetings,
Michel
