I got my RE5 engine to turn over for the first time in like 20 years. I am working on getting spark etc... but looking at the bike the biggest notice flaw (besides rust and dirt) is the seat cover. It is shredded and held together with electrical tape. Can anyone tell me the places to look or models to look under for seat covers? I did see a really cool black and red one on here that people mentioned looked cool but no response where it came from. Anyway, basically looking for information on seat covers. Not buying right away but always researching.

I've heard a rumor that there is a specialist company in the States that has most parts any RE5 owner should ever need, what's it called now? Oh yeah, Rotary Recycle. Z.

I just picked one up from Rotary Recycle, it is nice! You won't be disappointed with it if you go that route.

How much did they run? Sorry, but I am a cheapskate due to lack of money and too many projects.

Besides RR there is a seller on ebay called pitreplicas who also makes covers for many bikes including the RE5.

I think it was something like $125, it looks identical to the original except it isn't torn.

Is the 750 WB the same seat or close?

While at a glance the GT750 seat looks similar, it shares NOTHING in common with the RE5 seat.
