Got it approved for road use and did a longer drive the other day. Bike pulls strong, real fun to drive. Oil sump consumption still high though, I can’t see a cloud of smoke while driving, mostly while accelerating and driving off. It did not get my full attention while it was sitting on the bench, thought it was an overflow hole (idiot I am), a little bit of liquid was coming out of the tell tale hole ! This bike is giving me a hard time. After driving it got worse and did some reading. Ok, seems I need to pull the clutch cover. Ordered parts already. But first a little bit of bars leaks. At least the charging circuit seems to be alright. I have a nice little data logger device.

Don't panic too much about the water pump telltale (the book tells you to panic, not required). If it's just coolant, you can ignore for a little while (sometimes they "fix" themselves). Given yours has been sitting for some time though it probably could do with a new one.
If oil's coming out though, I'd fix immediately.
While it's apart, check the tip bearing inside the water pump casing cover.

Did a second ride a couple of days ago, 150 miles. Bevor,I added a little bit of bars leaks, let it run and shut of for a couple of days. That stopped the dripping while standing. But when I start the engine it started dripping again. However after completion of the trip it stopped (for how long ?). Will see at the next roll out. Thanks Wayne, for putting of the pressure 🙂

I'm back guys. Did 600 enjoyable miles this summer. Had one occation were it stalled while riding, but could restart, strange. Wanted to do a last ride last week, but it won't start, just like beginning of the year. Did the "usual" troubleshooting, but today I realized bubbles in cooland while cranking, I think that it for this engine . I am frustrated like hell.

The Wankel is out and will be shipped to Michel. I hope I will be able to put everything back together 😳 Any advise how to change oil, water seal and starter sprag? I did nor see anything about the sprag in the manual.

Those 3 items are pretty straight forward. Make sure you put the oil seal back in the correct way. Putting it in reverse has been done more than once, it'll ruin that nice new engine Michel's building for you by pumping your sump oil out.
Your new water pump seal should come with a white circular component. It's a sealing surface for the new one to run on. I mention this because some people have been unaware the old one can be removed from the housing on the water pump shaft.

Thank you wayne. I want to change all wear items, I don‘t want to open that engine again. Whatˋs the original thickness of the clutch plates? Mine are around 3,4 to 3,5 and one spring is a little bit shorter than the manual spec. Is there a clutch package from another bike that fits? Anything else to look for?

Do you have a late style starter sprag? If so, no need to worry of slippage. If unsure please refer to the service bulletin in our references. Regards, tim

My calipers may not be that correct, but it looks like I have the updated version. I bought a new sprag anyway. The old one had the open part of "u-bracket-copper-holder" (?) pointing towards the clutch housing side. Is that correct? I can't tell it from looking
at the bad copy of the TSB.

From memory, it will not go in the engaging in the wrong direction, others may help. tim. here is the new type second washer I saw on e-bay if needed. Some websites allow you to download "STL-files" that will run on your printer. One popular site is thingiverse.com. You can search for anything of interest. That's awesome, great to hear. It wasn't too long ago when there was almost no hope of rebuilding these.
