Okay... So Long story short.
For 15 years, at least, I have been trying to find a replacement for the starter sprag. They were manufactured for Suzuki by NSK Warner and even using the original NSK Warner number, I had no luck in finding a replacement.
Occasionally NSK dead stock shows up and one or two can be found, but not a real solution to the issue.
After much research and many disappointments, I finally found a company that listed the size needed as a "Standard Stock item". They were not telling the truth. It was a custom order part and while the dimensions "seemed" right. I don't believe it until it is in my hand/installed in my bike. Last year during the pandemic, I decided to pony up and get one made for testing. I received it at the beginning of this year.
It has now been installed in one of my test mules for quite some time and works perfectly. A couple of months ago, I made my order with the company and due to the Minimum order, I now have more than I will use in my lifetime.
I am now offering them to others. Cost shipped in the lower 48 is $150.00. Cost to other parts of the world will be determined by location.
You may email me at RotaryRecycle@gmail.com for purchasing instructions.
These are failing at an alarming rate, as they are now close to 50 years old. I was down to my last two units, so I made the decision to reach into my pocket, because I need them. In my opinion, it is not a matter of if they will fail, it is when.
Regards,

OK... Latest update.
Apparently, according to FB. There are Chinese starter sprags available for $26.00. Anyone who wishes to return their clutch purchased from me for a refund so they may buy a Chinese unit, Feel free to send me and email and I will issue a refund.
Best of luck to all in the future.

Like the chinese petcock of another members posts and problems, take heed. Group buys like this require an outlay of time ,effort and money. Thanks for listening, Tim
