I've probably told this story before but it belongs in this post so I'll repeat.
I have some friends who are motorcycle industry "insiders". Some of them got an escorted tour of the brand new Suzuki museum before it was open to the public (around 2010). There was no RE5.
When the group asked the Japanese Hosts "Where is your RE5?", the executives sheepishly smiled and looked at the floor.
Not long after, some of them were back and there it was along with a very brief explanatory board. Photos by Steve A and John S:
