After 10 years of collecting and planning, I have to admit it isn’t going to happen. Age, health issues, and a divorce make it necessary for me to liquidate everything RE5 I have. I would prefer to sell it all to someone with deep pockets.
This is what I have:
1 1976 rolling chassis with title. Ran when disassembled about 10 years ago. Arkansas title.
1 1975 mostly complete motorcycle. Lots of rust and cosmetic damage, gas tank does not leak but is very rough. Ran about 12 years ago.
Motors turn over normally on both these units.
1 1975 parts bike, bill of sale only. Motor does not turn, no gas tank. Lots of rust
1 1975 motorcycle, disassembled, bill of sale only. Coating came off side plates of rotor housing, they are gone. Good fuel tank with OEM blue paint job. Not show room but not bad. Custom after market seat.
Extras -
RE5 compression tester with two rolls of paper. Paper feed relay is bad but I have a universal relay I got to work sometimes so there is hope.
Three carbs between the 4 units. Two still on the units, one disassembled and soaked. Missing 92.5 primary main jet.
Oil filter wrench and rotor holder, service and parts manuals. Complete set of factory service bulletins.
New gauge hood purchased from Jess just before he shut down. Extra throttle cables and other spares/
4 brand new NGK AF9EP plugs still in boxes. Front brake master cylinder rebuild kit and a aset of contact breaker #2 points.
RE5 belt buckle
There is probably more, but those are the highlights.
I’ll take $2000 for everything. With what the carbs are worth and the 4 brand new plugs, I think that’s a bargain. If interested, contact me here or at gerrygrafstrom@yahoo.com.
