Which gasket sealant?

I am about to start the re-build of the engine.  Putting the "proper unit" back in etc.  I never split the gear box since it seemed to be ok.  I have a new set of gaskets.

The question is what gasket sealant to use.  Here in the uk I use Threebond 1104 for the rebuilds of the 2-stroke triples.  Is this the one to use for the re5m.  There may be different names for it in other countries.

Hi Nairb,

My experience is with stock gaskets installed dry. Some preconditioning of these gaskets produced years ago may be necessary

if any dryness from storage has altered the gasket.
