All, I've decided my horns, yes horns, are in the wrong location. They are actually below the radiator. I've been looking for pictures and I see some RE-5's with single horns located central, high and in front of the radiator. I have 2 scroll looking horns. What's the story on 2 versus 1 horn??? Years? Models? Europe vs USA?
Can anybody point me to a good picture showing the horns location? The parts catalog didn't help much. No good pictures on eBay at the moment.
Thanks!

The HORN (singular) ;D mounts to a bracket in front of the radiator at the top. The HORN (still Singular) ;D was chrome and marked Nikko. Rotary Recycle sells an excellent reproduction as the factory units are unobtainium. Lee Doxey has some photos on his site that show the location. Here is a link... www.angelfire.com/retro/roadster/index-12.htmlBest, Jess

Wow! Nice pictures!
So where in the Wide Wide World of Sports did these scroll horns come from? They are Suzuki at least. I'm bummed because they actually look pretty good. But wrong!!!

Allan,
I will try to post one, or send you a photo to post... Computers, internet is not my forte...
Right now, I sell them for 65.00. That may change as I am having difficulty getting them. I have one or two left at present. If they have been discontinued, or my supplier raises the price... I will have to make an adjustment.
Best,
Jess

I have 2 horns on my RE5. Part of them are a red plastic that blends really well with the color of the bike. I have no idea what they came from but I like them. Ron heard them. They are very loud. Might be from a foreign car or something. No idea really what they came from.

All that matters is that you like them... Most important thing! One of the young 'uns that works for me has the loudest @&^%ing horn on his Re5 that I have ever heard... He says it scares folks when he hits the button. I believe him Love to see pictures of yours... Best, Jess

BMW motorcycle horns are loud. I have a friend with a 3-4 year old BMW, he let me ride it one time and when I honked the horn it was so loud it startled me and I jumped in the seat! I would love to get my hands on a couple of those for my bikes.
