Hello all -
I am looking for the following as I rebuild my carb.
New rubber boot for the choke unloader - #50
Needle - pump nozzle - #28
Bowl cover gasket - #25
Diaphragm - pump - #55
Diaphragm - #11
Gasket - Enrichment valve assembly - #16
If you don't think I should replace any of the gaskets, please let me know. I have it all apart, so why wouldn't I?
Also, my needle-pump nozzle is bad and someone has clearly been in the carb before me as the "jet" that is not removeable is slightly butchered.
The BIG question is this - Is the hole at the bottom of the nonremoveable jet only on one side of the 360 degree surface or is it 2 holes 180 degrees apart. This is kind of important as I see most pictures have that screw slot running a certain way and would put mine the same.
ANY help would be GREATLY appreciated! Thanks

Just have time to answer one question at the moment. There is only one hole at the bottom of that jet. It should face towards the engine side of the secondary throat.
Your needle pump nozzle is "slightly butchered". Lucky you ! ; ) They are usually completely butchered.
This is very common as is finding that bottom hole in the jet is pointing in all directions other than down the throat.

There was also a reference to a similar bellows for the pump rod. Hope this helps.

As Tim says, some of these parts have been remanufactured. Contact member T140V (Stuart), he makes replica float bowl gaskets and these are importantly, the correct thickness. An incorrect gasket will affect float height.
Try member HGH 770N (Roger) for a replacement needle.
In both cases, ask about what else they may have to help you.
