Hi, the brakes on my bike work ok, but given its weight i would rather they were stunning, is there a preferred pad make/material that gives really good initial bite? cheers, Ian

I haven't tried all available but have done back to back tests on a few. Of those, Vesrah was the hands down winner (although you're not going to get "Stunning" without replacing the whole system).
Sam Costanzo told me that the original asbestos pads were the best but good luck getting those. Any bike coming to Australia now has to have any asbestos brake linings removed.
