Hi Can someone give me the dimmentions of the washers that are used on the rear shocks to space them from the frame. Also how they are arranged and does the grab rail go behind or in front of the top shock mount.
Regards Kerry
Found all i need to know on Waynes Post in this section nuts, bolts and washers. Thanks as this is very helpful, and a credit to Wayne who put it together.

I've been waiting 20 years for someone to ask this question...... Be patient, look carefully, I made these notes for myself 20 years ago. And yes, nerd/anal/geek award, I have all these washers. Sizes of all relevant washers are given lower left in millimetres. More information than you'd ever want. And the rack goes between the shock and the frame with a washer either side. You can see the parts book illustrates the basic "lift" grab rail. I've noted its thickness and listed the thickness of the typically available racks if you feel you need to compensate by changing washers.

It always appeared to me that there was plenty of room for accessories. Washers allow shocks to remain in alignment.
Anyone notice illustration #4?

First time I took the rear shocks off my bike I thought some numpty had been mucking around with the bike, lost the proper spacers and put heaps of washers on instead. Little did I know that the numpties were the Suzuki engineers!
