I have the ability to arrange a group Secondary diaphragm rebuilding. Your old diaphragm will be media blasted and clear coated.
I'm looking at under $40.00 USD depending on quantity, possibly slightly more now, the price estimates were from last year.
I can't completely guarantee you will get your own back but extremely polished or shiny ones from owners will be noted and vice versa.
EDIT: I will label each owners unit stem with a wire tag .
They would be mailed to me, I will get our groups total cores to the re manufacturer and I will mail back to you individually. I am addressing interest
only at this point . Previous rebuilds done years ago were as good in functioning as the original . I have contacted the same
remanufacturer as before for this offer.
EDIT: Testing is straightforward without a vacuum pump. If you do not have a twist assist or throttle lock, you will need the help of your assistant.
Hold throttle wide full open
Slip off vacuum hose
reach under and lift to open the secondary throttle
place finger over vacuum hose and confirm it holds vacuum

Both requests are noted. As a method of planning, I expect to round up requests and acquire a firm estimate towards the end of this July.

I wanted to double check arrangements at the original rebuilder and they can no longer rebuild ours. Interesting though his long time employee remembered them . They did offer a referral to one other rebuilder that they work with so I will contact them. Tim

I suggest members check out your units to determine weather you will be interested or not. I am looking into getting them plated with the new referral! More later. Tim 08/04/2018

I need to know of any of your questions to address. Please review the initial post, the extra benefit now is they will be plated and I really
want to and expect to hold the price but I need firm commitments as quanity affects the price.
When I have enough firm orders, I will ask you to mail the diaphragms to me post haste. I'm looking to making a decision 08/17/2018.

I have two that I would like to have done. My concerns are the plastic bushing at the end of the rod,(Some are more worn than others) rotation timing of 3 mounting holes vs the hole in rod and hose nipple. If you decide to go ahead please e-mail me with address and how to pay. brianhudson59@gmail.com

Brian, as far as I know, they cannot replace the plastic bushing. I have been supplied a small Jesus snap pin that should hold for you.
I agree on the alignment, I have addressed those concerns as well. My sample is currently at the rebuilder as those were my concerns as well.
Should know soon.
Tim EDIT: All have been notified and PIC sent. If I missed you Please PM me right away. Thanks 09/26/18
EDIT: Got my samples in hand this evening and they look and vacuum test just as good as they are pictured. I will put my rebuilt diaphragm on my
driver tomorrow and expect to call in your cores right away so get ready as I will need to send in one complete shipment post haste.
Al, I am unable to contact you, please get in touch. Thanks 09/28/18
