water pump shaft and seal

Hi all there has been some discussion in the past about water pump shafts and the wear on the end where it runs in the bush in the cover. I had two bikes here that both had that problem so in the absence of any new shafts I have gone ahead and had some new shafts made in stainless. I have modified the shaft slightly to use more commonly available seals so replacement should be easier in the future. The bush for the end cover is a bronze which Im assured will work well with the stainless shaft and water.
Unlike a big manufacturer I cant test these to destruction and give a 100,000 mile warranty, the engineering is sound and I have one running in a bike but as always make your own call on these.

I will sell the complete kit as shown in the photo for NZ$325 plus postage
