Hello again, Another request for help. I am at the point where I stuff the head lamp bucket with all the associated wires. On my A model the headlamp bucket has 2 holes on the back side with grommets for the wires to pass thorough and unfortunately on disassembly I didn’t take any pictures showing which wires came through what hole. Logic tells me that the main harness that runs along the right side of the bike comes through the bottom opening in the headlamp and all the rest (gauge wires, left and right hand controls, and indicators) come through the top opening. I also assume the small harness that runs along the left side of the bike enters the bucket in the top opening. Can anyone confirm I have it right and if possible post a picture of the wiring in the bucket? Thanks, Rich

I don't think there's any right or wrong way to route the wiring in and out of the bucket. What I normally do is route the wiring based on its size and location. What I mean is, I route the larger wiring bundles coming from the frame (low) through the lower hole, with the smaller wiring bundles from the 'bars, and indicator wires, (high) through the upper hole. There may have to be some exceptions to this rule to even things out (the larger bundles may have to be separated), but this method seems to allow everything to lay nicely in the bucket for connection and makes everything neat at the back of the bucket - all the wiring runs straight and there are no (or minimal) cross-overs. Hope that helps

Thanks for the input. I'll give it a go.
