Here's a couple more shots of the "White Bike" as she is today. You need to see that paint in the flesh to appreciate it fully:

Remember that big funky seat it used to have? The bolsters were so large that I (6 foot 2") had trouble straddling it.

That's pretty funky all right. I don't remember it being on the bike when I was there. No way I could have straddled it then.

Wow. Amazing bikes. I've never been a huge fan of flake, but the more I get interested in these vintage bikes, it's growing on me... I'm curious of the exhaust extensions. Are they more for getting the heat farther back or to help quiet it more?

They were dealer installed with the Suzuki touring package. They were dual purpose. Keep the exhaust off the saddlebags and reduce noise.

What ? Dig up some dusty old yellowed bulletin that'd be of no interest to anyone anywhere except some misanthropic hermit RE5 nerd ?
Yes please, love to see it.

We are a sad bunch, aren't we. Yes please Tim, I'd be interested too. Don't know why and I tried to fight it but I now need to know!

Found this in my tool box since who knows when? The reference for S&S was for the company that bought out J&R expansion chambers and where I had more tips made later for members.

That action image right there as viewed from the right angles are my favorite as you get parallel lines from our legs on the pegs to the water pump and clutch , beautiful styling.Tim
