Don't you think he could have moved it from over the oil droppings before taking the photographs??? Not to imply the oil is the biggest issue.
One buys a bike. Don't people get titles transfered anymore? Isn't it the law? I've seen this a lot lately.

That's the trouble with the new ebay. You can't see who the bidder is. If this is a legit bid, I would play the lottery if I was the seller.

It has very low milage.
Surface rust is rampant
missing badges
oil leak
But what is a fair price for a bike in this condition??
It has been sitting for most of its life what could be the possible engine probs ??

I notice that there is a piece of wood under the kickstand on this POS, I mean bike. I feel like my RE-5 leans a BUNCH when I use the kickstand thus I usually use the centerstand. Does anybody else notice this?
On the other hand my CBX seems a bit vertical on it's kickstand. These are the only 2 bikes that I have had for a LOT of years so I don't have a lot to compare it to.

I'm not an expert on prices for these bikes but I would say even $500 is being very generous as far as the value. I don't know if you could even get that much back by parting it out. There are bikes that come up in way better shape than this one for only a few hundred more than this one was selling for. |

My RE was in that shape when I got it, But I pad $200 For it.
Well it was a little better the tank Had pant on it.

No Bill I didnt get that one .
I thought that it was a little ovrpriced also.
The crazy thing about the ebay $1000 bike that i missed out on,
He had it advertised elsewhere as a RA5 so my searches didnt pick it up .It was advertisd for $600 !!!!!!

So, does that mean my "parts bike" that has the paint still on it and sit nice, and rolls nice, and has everything still on it is worth AT LEAST $1200???
