Hi Again I checked my chains when I got bikes all looked ok , no tight spots or excessive movement , I was riding my M a few weeks ago and thought it felt a bit ruff , so I looked at the chain and LUCKILY saw the links on back sprocket, LUCKILY !!!!!!!, one had 1/2 a plate missing on the outside , I had been doing a fairly high speed a few hrs before it could have ended very badly DONT ever trust a 40 yr old chain both bikes have new chains now .

Glad you caught it first.
I highly recommend a riveted master link or better yet a GS-1100 Suzuki chain. This from experience.
