It's great to finally get my RE5 rebuilt and back on the road after 3 years in boxes. All chrome has been redone including exhausts by the excellent folk at Marque Restore. I just need to finish rear indicator stalks and try and find the exhaust grills which are somewhere in my garage. Then, just a good polish and she's ready for the summer.

Great news, well done on the rebuild.
I look forward to seeing it in the summer, how about some pics?
Regards, Joe.

Lovely job Ray. I hope the oil problem can be sorted out before next summers ride outs.

Looks real nice!
If oil fouling isn't a problem, your bike will probably run faster than another RE5 with less internal friction.
