That's a bargain alright. I paid $700 a pair about a year ago. Good chrome job but they always seem to come back with a new dent in them somewhere even after telling them that the pipes have been panel beaten at great expense and are dent free. However, as the sign says above the counter at these places......."all care no responsibility for goods left".

I think we have all taken perfectly good parts to the chrome shop, only to throw them away after. That is why I have an understanding with the owner to supervise each step. The pipes picked up two dents along the way, one they admitted to, one just appeared. Makes you wish you had your own chrome tank. All is good now, just waiting for the chromer to work his magic. I wonder how dent free the pipes were from new? I see dents that should not have occurred in riding. Chrome for Christmas!
