My recently acquired RE5 M is missing its right hand side panel, there is one on ebay but didnt know if anybody had a cheaper one? cheers, Ian.

David if I could jump in here off your topic but you are someone who would surely know this.........what's the redline on the tacho face of the Norton Rotary classic ?

D'oh! The Interpol 2 was only sold on Sunday last otherwise I would have popped down to the garage to have a look!!!
The (IP2) Owners' Handbook says that the red-line is at 7,800rpm, and that there is an ignition cut-out at 8,750rpm.

Thanks Dave and Roger. That answers my question. Seems a slight difference betweent he IP2 and the Classic but we went off the tacho on the classic so I'll run with Rogers photo.
You sold the interpol ? Should've sold it down here, any Norton rotary is worth big money.

I don't know where you are at but I've seen those listed from anywhere from $50 to $250 on E Bay in the USA. Of course the $50 ones are nasty.
I don't have any extras but you might try Jess at RR, he probably has your exact color.
