nos rotor side seals!

There is a packet of rotor side seals on ebay at the moment- here in Perth.

I don't need any at the moment but thought I'd make people aware in case they do. Price? Is that fair? They are just about unobtainium so I guess the seller can ask pretty much anything... (and no, it's not me!)

Within the last 8 years I was at a local shop. The owner would have been 80 in the shade. Shop was full of bits hanging from the roof, cluttering the floor, yellowed and tattered boxes. The owner, with a face like a shrivelled prune, the dag of a yellowed roll-your-own permanently stuck to his bottom lip through which he'd cough intermittently while telling you how much "yer robbin' me" whenever you made him an offer.

He had a box, not of sideseals, but a box of boxes of sideseals. I think he wanted $6 a set. I thought "what would I do with these anyway ?" and left.

Just about anyone in Sydney who's been around bikes for more than two decades will know who I'm talking about.........and no, he no longer has them. Bought by someone much smarter than me.
