I saw this and thought..... why? If you're going to stuff around with turbos you need to have a motor which can be rebuilt easily with over the counter spares like apex seals and new housings.....
Still, I like the idea- unnecessary but then so is a Hayabusa turbo and they are most excellent fun!
Looking at the seller's other items, he appears to be a man with too many projects..... I'd know about that.....

The latest addition to my garage uses a turbo to good effect, a Honda CX500 Turbo, and looks pretty good to for an '80's bike.

The ad says the motor runs, but I doubt that it runs as currently set up. All the wires to the throttle body are cut, he really does'nt show what is going on with that part of the motor. What is the helmet lock doing? It looks like he has a lot of time into the project though.

It looks like there is a carb mounted to the turbo, is that good/ bad idea?

Many older setups are suck through carby turbo or even blow through such as the original Bentley Turbo R. Old tech, but does work. A SU carby as a suck through setup usually works quite well.

I've never seen this before, just 'blow through' carbs.

It looks to me like there is a fuel injector nozzel attached directly to the intake manifold.

There's something with wires cut that looks like a TPS.
