Wow, that's one heck of a coincidence- the seller is from the same town in Tennessee as Jess at RR!

I total agree . I have had some re-pro's in the past and had to bend them into shape and use contact adhesive to stick then on , also the candy blue was different and the lettering is slightly different font on the re-pro's The re-pro's are better than nothing but a refurb original one is the way I would go if there are no NOS ones available .

NOS units are flat. They needed to be shaped to fit the case. They never came bent... The only difference between NOS and our excellent reproduction, is that the colors are very slightly off. After a few years NOS will fade to look much like ours... Ours, should never fade. I can't stand flea bay... I have guys call me all the time asking for advice on how to install/repair the parts they bought from eBay... It irritates the hell out of me. Kind of akin to bringing a steak to a restaurant and giving it to them to cook it for you... However... You guys caught me. Actually... you caught the BOSS... Barbara... For those of you that do not know, Barbara is the real chief here at RR. She is my sister, and I just work here. She says to do something... and my only response is "Yes Mamn" Ask Wayne... Best, Jess (the guy who works at RR)

Best, Jess (the guy who works at RR) LOL It's TRUE ! ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- PS And there's the problem with NOS badges. What Jess says is also true. Unless the bike is going to sit in a museum, they're going to fade and do so pretty rapidly. Jess's repo's hold their colour, they haven't changed a bit on my regular rider after years in service.

Some interest in these (as there should be), cracked through $100 pretty quick.
Also nice to see a pair being sold together. I remember a bloke selling NOS perfect condition GT750J side and radiator covers one by one. Probably the best way to maximise profit but still a travesty when halves of the pairs ended up with different buyers.

I was going to bid on those but i don't want to bid against Wayne!
How much are the repops? I'm sure my rusty old M would be happy with those... ;D

I believe they did sell quite a few in the States, probably more than in the UK. There quite a few Turbos in the UK that have been imported from the US. The US spec ones have the TURBO decal above the headlight the right way round where as the UK ones it is mirror image i.e. OBRUT

"Wow, they went for $276!

Did not meet reserve... so they did not sell.
We have reproductions available for sale. We have Re5 side cover emblems for sale. We have Suzuki Emblems for the sides of the tank...
There are not many parts that we do not have for the bike.
Every sale is important to us. It helps us keep the doors open to provide everyone with parts for their bikes.
Anyone who believes this is a profitable venture, is sadly mistaken.
Best,

No, not my bid. But shows you how much real NOS is worth these days.
That top bid would have only showed as much as necessary to beat the previous bid. It would be interesting to know what that guy's maximum was. Probably a tad over 300 if not more.
