Yes it has. An "NOS" bike out of the crate sold for about $12K in the US perhaps 7years ago. And I've posted before that a similar bike failed to raise more than about 13K in AU perhaps a year ago.
I would have thought he'd be happy with that price.

I got my A 2001 with 2700miles "nearly like new" for around 3,8k$. Now it has 28kmiles . If I had known, ,that every new mile cost 50cent extra *ggg* Andreas

I would have taken the money and ran! That's an obscene amount of money for an RE5 in my opinion.
