I'm sure that most, if not all, of you guys are aware of the evils of ethanol in our fuels. I have avoided ethanol like the plague for some years now, it just is bad news for ANY IC engine for a variety of reasons. The most obvious is the reduction in fuel mileage due to the fact that ethanol has less heat energy than pure gasoline. In my vehicles, I noted a difference of two to four mpg less using ethanol or oxygenated fuels over pure gasoline. Now the difficult bit is finding servos that HAVE ethanol-free fuels, but THAT'S been covered as well. There's a nifty site, www.pure-gas.org that lists stations across the States that serve ethanol-free fuel! They even have a great little app for iPhone users that makes it easier to find the elusive ethanol-free zones. It's an interactive site, so if you find that a station is no longer ethanol-free, or you discover one that's not listed, you can update it through the site, so everyone can benefit. Just wanted to pass this along....

If you take away the comma after the web address to the site, the link will work. www.pure-gas.org
