I put a new chain on the RE-5 and the sprocket teeth look good which is odd as bad as the chain was. The sprocket is also solid. Does the original rear sprocket have holes in it? That is what is shown in the shop manual. I'll bet this is a replacement aftermarket sprocket.
A lot of oil on it..... if you need some let me know ;D

It looks nothing like those.
I went with a 630 because RR still had it in stock.
This bike must really pull hard to go through tires, chains and sprockets as fast as it does.
I hope to get in some sort of decent test ride this weekend. Hopefully I'll get a better idea of what this bike is like ;D
