Here is the finished project. Dad has done an amazing job on this machine considering it hadn't run for about 25yrs previous and the engine didn't even turn when we got it. 6 months later and after a lot of colourful language, it is done. Here is pic of the rear wheel fresh from the recon guys. He said that this wheel had done nearly zero work in its life. Rims polished and spokes zinc coated. looks the part!!
