I have an orange M that I'm rebuilding at the moment and one that I've stripped for spares and will be scrapping the frame as its been chopped to bits by the previous owner to make it into a hideous custom.

I think it is that some bikes get sea-sick. I used to live in Southampton in the mid-70s and went across to the Isle of Wight several times a year. My two-strokes (Jawa 350 and Suzuki T500) would have to be pushed off the ferry or bump-started down the ramp, but the four-strokes (mainly Triumphs) were fine. Wierd!

Welcome to the re5 club from another GTS owner. Your looks quite nice, you put a lot of work into it!

Thanks Tom.
We reckon in the UK GTS owner;s club that there are less than 80 GTS's in the UK, and I have owned eight of them (one of them twice!), so I am a bit of a fan. The picture is of my first one, which I have owned for over 13 years. Every winter I do a bit more to it, and it is pretty much as I want it now, except for getting a matched pair of wheels made. Then I will make it pretty. There is only really the frame and front-end that is standard now. It is nearly to the point that the bike should have been when released, in my opinion.
